Before you start, please make sure that you have completed KYC (you cannot create an Agentic Wallet without KYC). We also recommend setting up a passkey (Face ID / Touch ID) first.
Step 1: Open the Agentic Wallet and tap "Create wallet"
Switch to Agentic Wallet at the top of the app, read the introduction and tap Create wallet. Confirm again in the pop-up window.
Step 2: Verify your identity
If you have set up a passkey, verify with Face ID / Touch ID. If not, follow the prompts to complete email or Google 2FA verification and enter the last four digits of your ID number.
Step 3: Name your wallet
Enter a wallet name and tap Create. The system generates two key shares: one is stored on your phone and the other is kept by a secure server. No seed phrase is created at any point. Creation takes a few seconds, so please wait.
Step 4: Back up your wallet
Your wallet can only receive and send assets after it has been backed up. Tap Start backup.
Step 5: Set your recovery password
- The recovery password must be at least 8 characters and contain both letters and numbers. Enter it twice.
- "Let WhaleFin securely store my recovery password" is selected by default (recommended). With this option on, if you forget your password, you can contact WhaleFin Customer Service and recover it after identity verification. WhaleFin only stores your password in encrypted form and does not store your key share, so WhaleFin cannot move your assets on its own.
- If you clear this option, WhaleFin will not store your recovery password. If you lose it, WhaleFin cannot help you recover it, and you will be responsible for it.
When you have confirmed, tap Encrypt and back up.
Step 6: Done
When you see Wallet ready, your wallet has been created. The page shows your backup status and your on-chain addresses. Tap Enter wallet.
